UCD Mobile – a New Application for Mobile Devices

The UCD Mobile app provides a practical tool for staff, students, alumni, prospective students, and visitors to stay informed and connected to the university. Available for free, this application enables users with smartphones and other mobile devices to access a range of university services efficiently.

The app offers comprehensive information, including real-time news updates and campus services. Users can quickly determine their current location on campus and locate specific buildings using the interactive Maps feature. The News section aggregates university updates across multiple categories, including the University Noticeboard. Additionally, the Directory service offers staff contact details along with direct links to campus maps for easy navigation.

The Events Calendar keeps users informed about upcoming activities and events on campus. The Sports module provides updates on various sports teams, including fixtures and scores for both men's and women's teams.

Blackboard Mobile Learn facilitates direct access to course content, announcements, and other learning resources via the Blackboard platform. The Videos feature showcases a diverse selection of videos produced by students and faculty, including lecture recordings from various academic programs.
